Buy Sumatriptan Online

Imitrex (Sumatriptan) is a potent analgesic. It works within the brain to relieve pain arising from headaches. The drug treats migraine headache and cluster headache. Also, it prevents the body from producing substances that trigger migraine symptoms like sensitivity to bright light, vomiting, and nausea.

Sumatriptan shouldn’t be used to resolve a tension headache, which is chiefly due to stress. A physician will only prescribe Imitrex after confirming that a patient is suffering from a migraine.

Dosage and Administration

This medicine contains an instruction sheet. Ensure you read the instructions and use them as directed. Speak with a physician if there’re doubts or concerns. The symptoms you present would determine whether the medicine would be administered in the hospital immediately.

You can ingest the drug orally, intranasally, or subcutaneously. Take it with a fatty meal or on an empty stomach. Imitrex tablets must be consumed whole. Don’t chew or break them. If the pain doesn’t subside or it returns within two hours, another dose would be administered.

It isn’t known whether Sumatriptan is safe for pediatrics and geriatrics. Therefore, such patients should only utilize the drug when prescribed by a physician.

Dosage for Migraine Headaches

Adults can consume a maximum of 200 mg/ day. Patients up to the age of 18 can consume 25 - 100 mg. It can be repeated every two hours but shouldn't exceed 200 mg. Patients suffering from hepatic dysfunction should consume up to 50 mg daily.

Cluster Headaches

The treatment is administered subcutaneously using a pre-filled medication cartridge and Imitrex Pen Injector. A syringe can also be used with a single dose vial.

Nasal Solution
